California Greenworks, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose charter is to improve urban communities in South Los Angeles. Our motto "Greening Communities one Neighborhood at a Time" reflects our efforts to help grow environmental outreach and educational programs that improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods.
With an environmental focus, California Greenworks improves the quality of life in urban communities through programs that preserve open space and neighborhood beautification projects.
California Greenworks partners with local community-based organizations and groups along with other non-profit organizations. These partnerships allow us to put programs and projects into action that make a difference in neighborhoods across South Los Angeles. Some of our recent efforts include: restoration of waterways, engaging elementary school kids on the importance of protecting the environment, and create a community-based program that raises watershed pollution awareness. Join us! Help to plant a tree, clean up a waterway or, lend a hand to restore a wildlife habitat.
